Are you bored and at home during another coronavirus lockdown? Are you starting to feel like this damn thing will never end. Is your passport collecting dust as we speak? If you are longing for a holiday and adventure to somewhere else, this post is for you. Read on for some of my favourite travel YouTubers, that you can spend your weekend binge watching.

Eamon & Bec

Eamon and Bec are a Canadian couple who have been travelling North America, Europe and North Africa in their Mercedes Sprinter. This couple are true travel goals, as they have a successful Chai Tea business Chaiwalachai, and are able to work remotely. Their YouTube channel is very successful as well, and it is obvious why. Their videos are super binge-worthy. E & B also post vegan recipes, which is great for all you guys wanting to be plant-based. Currently, this couple are living in a cabin in the woods in Canada, but they continue to post content weekly. Worth a subscribe to keep up with their latest adventures.

Kara and Nate

A couple that have a fun YouTube channel chronicling their world travels. Super upbeat, forever positive and travelling the globe. They saw over 100 countries, and are now focusing on unique experiences and challenges around the world.

Max & Lee

My absolute favourite travel vloggers were Australian Max and Canadian Lee. This couple travelled through the Americas in their Mercedes Sprinter. The energy that Lee and Max gave off, the amazing locations, and of course their cute dog Occy made this channel magic. Unfortunately, Lee lost her battle with depression in the beginning of this year and so we can only see her old videos. Speaking up for Lee and spreading awareness about how mental health can affect anyone is important. Be kind to each other, and do not tolerate cyber bullying. Max continues to post with Occy from Australia on his channel Max & Occy. Even though Lee is no longer with us, she lives on through this amazing channel that you can easily spend days watching.

Aimee and Craig are a young couple from Wales who have been travelling and vlogging for years. They both have had near death experiences, with Aimee a cancer survivor and Craig breaking his neck on a trip in New Zealand. They seem like such a lovely couple, and are so enjoyable to watch.

Sailing La Vagabonde

Elayna and Riley are an Australian couple who are sailing their boat La Vagabonde around the world. They bought the boat in Italy with zero prior knowledge of how to sail. They’re now a family and have their second child along the way. The couple have been sailing the world for 6 whole years!

The Way Overland

Overlanders Jolie and Mark are an Australian couple who plan to drive from Australia to the UK. They made it to Iran where their trip came to a nightmare end. The two were imprisoned for months in Iran, but were luckily set free. They are currently in Australia due to COVID-19, but will be heading back onto the road once the borders open. Their channel is full of amazing cinematography and I love that they have visited places off the beaten track. Ever wanted to see what Tajikstan has to offer? They’re your guys.

Drew Binsky

Drew is a young guy who has been travel vlogging for years. I find his videos about those countries that are less travelled to especially interesting. His video on North Korea has over 10 million views and is super insightful.

Fearless and Far

Want a unique take on travel vlogging? Mike of Fearless and Far specialises in the strange and unusual. His videos are of top quality, someone give him his own show please. If you want to see lesser travelled countries, attractions and interesting festivals he is your man.

Sailing SV Delos

An American man, Swedish woman and their young baby sailing the world. This couple have been sailing every ocean for over 10 years now. Their channel is very real, showing the daily life of living on a boat, the dangers and the adventure. The family are completely off-grid, generating their own power and water. What a dream.

Kombi Life

British Ben, Australian Leah and their dog Alaska have been on the road for many years now. Their YouTube channel starts off with Ben in his kombi, picking up people along the way. Now they have over 500,000 subscribers and are living in a van during the pandemic. Currently they’re going around Europe.

Brothers Alex and Marko post videos from around the world that not only focus on the beauty of the place, but also the cultural and historical aspect. Beautifully shot and insightful.

Packs Light

More a motivational speaker than pure travel vlogger, Gabby is a 24 year old woman who has already travelled far. She has also delivered a TED talk at the young age of 24! Gabby posts videos of where she is currently, and also of how you can do it too. If you want motivation for your Wednesday in bed, she is the one to watch.

The Road Chose Me

Dan Grec has travelled around the world in his 4×4 vehicle. His latest videos are centred around advice on how to travel, overland, and get sponsors. His channel is great for those who want to become an overlander, and need some tips.

The Planet D

Dave and Deb are the creators behind The Planet D. Their videos are super informative on the top places to see around the world.

Jim H – formerly Wandxr (old)

Frenchman Jim and American Sabrina are a couple who created Wandxr. Their instaworthy shots of them travelling North America in their blue VW Kombi are what they’re known for. The reason why I have old in brackets is because they aren’t actively travelling anymore. Sabrina and Jim appear to be broken up and their videos are mainly flashbacks now. Having said that, their videos are fun to watch and worth a look at.

So I hope you enjoyed my 2nd part of the series inspired by COVID-19. YouTubers to watch while you’re in COVID lockdown.
